Central Oregon Pathology Consultants is the premier pathology organization in Central Oregon. We are a privately owned company that provides comprehensive anatomic diagnostic services for the region. We are the sole provider of pathology services for the St. Charles Medical Center hospitals, as well as many outpatient locations. In addition, we serve as laboratory medical directors at many of the region's hospitals. As physician pathologists, we are dedicated to providing state of the art diagnostic care to clinicians and their patients.
Our onsite laboratory employs current technology for anatomic pathology and cytopathology services. We have full-service histology, immunoperoxidase, and ThinPrep cytology capabilities. Our employees include board certified pathology assistants, histotechnologists, and cytotechnologists.
All of our pathologists are board certified in both anatomic and clinical pathology. In addition, many of the pathologists have specialty expertise and board certification in fields such as cytopathology, breast pathology, urologic pathology, hematology, gastrointestinal pathology, and microbiology. We have an extensive courier service for specimen delivery to our lab. In addition, we provide fine needle aspiration (FNA) services for patients in a comfortable environment at our office.
